Hi, I’m Mike, the founder and Creative of mikebdesigns. On paper, mikebdesigns is a videography and photography service based in West Sussex, UK, but what we represent and set out to achieve is so much more than that. 

While we do create bespoke videos and photos tailored for your needs, mikebdesigns takes businesses and brands one step further. Closer - ‘real’er - deeper. We are proud to be - and celebrated for - championing the most authentic and human experience, from our dealings with clients in pre-production all the way through to the moments we capture and the final edits we provide, delivering a creative service that is empathetic, intuitive and impactful.

I’m a Dad and a creative videographer with over 15 years professional experience in Performing arts and Creative industries. With years under my belt as a Technical Manager and Sound Engineer in Contemporary Dance - working alongside artists such as Hofesh Schecter - I’ve had the privilege of helping artists, creatives, engineers and businesses worldwide to realise their brand, their ethos and to stand out in their field. 

But what does ‘empathetic, intuitive and impactful’ really MEAN? 

I don’t just want to make you a video. I want to understand what lights you up and celebrate the things that make you proud.

At the end of the day, hopefully I’m not just leaving you with footage, but wrapping up memories, achievements, and - what all my clients comment on - genuine magic moments. You know the ones - the ones where Aunty Mabel did her famous laugh and didn’t know anyone was watching, that moment the boss clapped you on the back for a job well done, or when we stayed just that little bit longer to get the perfect sunset shot.
