Returning from a goose and a wander: ECE Architectures ‘Wiston Estate’
Somewhere in the archives of mike b designs, buried beneath hard drives, coffee cups, and what can only be described as “a perfectly sensible, colour-coded folder structure”… lies this film from ECE Architecture at Wiston House and the rather lovely Chalk Restaurant.
At the time, I fully intended to write a thoughtful blog post explaining the creative process, (and I or someone still will!) the atmosphere, the architecture, and no doubt something poetic about Sussex light rolling across lime-washed walls. Instead, like a medieval scribe distracted by a nearby goose, I wandered off into a jungle of other projects and never returned.
So rather than allowing this piece of work to languish forever in the digital oubliette, here it is, proudly presented without its long-promised accompanying essay. One day I may yet complete it.
Historians remain divided….
